I did not make it to 34 weeks. But I did make it to 32! On November 12th, I was transferred to our local hospital that has a level 1 NICU. The preeclampsia was very severe this time around. My liver levels went drastically up and the epigastric pain I was having was intense. On Monday, November 14th at 10:10am our wonderful little Sidney Nicole was born. She weighed in at 4lbs. 7oz.
All of the doctor's told us that she would be in the NICU for 4-6 weeks but she only stayed for 2 1/2! It's been nothing but pure joy to see both of my daughters interacting. Claire loves her little sister. Even though she's trying to say Sidney it comes out as "Sissy" everytime. This picture is the first time that Claire saw Sidney. It's hands down my favorite picture and one that makes me want to cry every time I look at it. We are beyond blessed.
Sidney is now almost 4 months old, almost 11 lbs and perfecting her smile!
