Video's for your viewing pleasure ;)

Sidney is starting to talk!!  She's getting down Mama, Dada and Baba.  In this video she's working on Mama. :)

Sidney taking a bath is quite the event!  Claire is just attracted to water of ANY kind so she always likes to "help" me give Sidney a bath.  No bath is lonely or even relaxing around here, I get some interesting commentary when I attempt a relaxing bath nowadays, lol.

Vacation 2012

We just got back from our week long family vacation!  It was so very needed.  We all had a blast.  Even the long drive to Myrtle Beach wasn't a bad one thanks to the amazing technology of DVD players hanging from the headrest.  Both of our little girls handled the trip so well.  Claire had a blast swimming and playing in the sand.  Even though we stayed in a condo, she keeps begging to go back to the "wo-tel".  I feel the same way she does!

Beth and kids flew in as a huge surprise late Monday night!!  They are def. our vacation buddies so something just felt missing without them.  I was so excited when I found out they were on their way.

We mostly just relaxed in our condo and went to the beach/pool.  This resort is built right behind a tidal pool/creek that was perfect for the kids to play in.  We didn't have to constantly worry about a wave scooping them up.

We went to Ripley's Aquarium (I do NOT recommend, waaayyyy to many people allowed in at one time) and Alligator Adventure.  We're still roaring and talking about the Tigers, Alligators, Sharks and Dinosaurs!  We also took Claire to her very first movie in a theater to see the new Ice Age movie.  She calls it the BIG Scrat!

The week went by way too fast, as vacation always does.  Here's some pictures from our trip.  Some are from my big camera and some are from my iPhone.  I tried to keep the expensive camera away from the sand as much as possible. ;)

Happy Independence Day!

We had a wonderful and busy July 4th!  Our day started out with our annual tradition of the Stanardsville Parade.  Dad's tractor shined the brightest of all with little Miss Farmall Princess and Mr. Farmall himself, of course! All of the kids had so much fun running for candy.  It made the intense heat not as noticeable.

From there we went to the Skyline Drive for a cookout, it's always so beautiful up there!  It was a quick trip this time so we didn't get any good overlook pictures.

That night we went to McIntire Park for fireworks, Claire is still talking about fireworks!

Hope everyone stayed cool and had a great 4th!
